  2. How does the school address the underattainment and underachievement of boys?

  3. Do you play an active part in policy development? (see whole school level)

  4. Are you involved in setting whole school targets?

  5. How are you involved in monitoring pupil progress against these targets?

  6. Do male governors act as positive role models for boys? e.g.
    • visiting the school during school time
    • talking to pupils about your work
    • talking to pupils about their work
    • supporting the school’s behaviour policy

  7. Do the school’s spending priorities reflect the importance of raising boys’ achievement?

  8. Are you actively involved in developing and reviewing the school development plan?
